This is a wonderful time of year for a fresh start. Resolve to take your career to new levels in 2024 with CPC’s new lineup of courses, programs, and benefits!

1 – Refresh Your CPC Membership

Log in to the member site to update your member profile and update your directory profile and privacy preferences. While you are there, download your 2024 Membership Certificate and Volunteer Logos. Set yourself up for the new year by adding them to your résumé, website, and social media!

2 – Download Your Free Copy of CPC’s Certification eGuide(s)

CPC’s certification eGuides are rich resources that will provide you with action-oriented information to better support your clients. If you are certified (or are in the process of being certified), log in and download your complimentary copy of the associated eGuide — it’s our special gift to you.

If you are planning on becoming certified, you will receive access to your free copy of the 2024 eGuide when you apply.

3 – Participate in a Special Interest Group (SIG)

Our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are in high demand. To encourage relevant discussion, participants must have the background and qualifications that fit the target population of the group. There is no cost for members to join these SIGs. If your background, qualifications, and interest match one of these groups, register right away to reserve your spot.

4 – Find Out How To Achieve your CDP

For 2024, all our courses have been refreshed with the most pertinent information for career professionals. Enhance your career by completing CPC’s Career Development Practitioner (CDP) Program and working toward your Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP) certification.

5 – Boost Your Professional Development with Self-Directed Learning

Self-directed courses are exclusively available for CPC members. These courses are available on-demand. Once you have purchased the course, you’ll have continuous access to the course content for as long as you maintain your active membership status. Take advantage of leading-edge content in a self-paced learning environment.

6 – Learn About CPC’s Simplified Certification Process

Career Professionals of Canada is setting the Canadian standard for excellence in our profession. CPC offers five distinct certifications. If you have related experience, you can get certified in one of two ways: Course-Based or Competency-Based. Watch our certification explainer video to learn more about the process.

Resolve to work toward the certifications that best match your areas of expertise. When you receive your certifications, you can use the associated letters after your name. You can also use the logo on your résumé, business card, and website. You’ll enhance your credibility, visibility, and opportunities.

If you’ve already achieved your C-Level certification, aim your sights on the M-Level. When you attain the Master-Level certification, you’ll be part of an elite group of top strategists in Canada. In line with CPC’s member-friendly policies, there are never any renewal or re-certification fees!

If you are a CPC member, we encourage you to log in and download our By-Laws, review our Code of Professional Conduct, and register for our General Assembly, which takes place on January 17, 2024. Join us to be entered to win the door prize of a free one-year membership extension!

BONUS – Take Advantage of our Community of Practice

CPC is inclusive, supportive, and welcoming. We would like you to join our rich and robust community of practice.
