New UP Skills for Work Video Mini-Lesson – Creativity and Innovation!
What: The last of our UP Skills for Work (UPS4W) video mini-lessons is ready! Creativity is the skill that lets you see, hear, or think about things in new and different ways. Creativity can be used to have fun, solve problems, and come up with new ideas.

Start planning for Family Literacy Day 2024
What: Family Literacy Day takes place every year to raise awareness about the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family. Celebrate 25 years of Family Literacy Day and learn together as a family by having a party! Make food, sing songs, and play games. The possibilities for learning are endless – and it’s fun when you do it together.

You’re invited to our Family Literacy Day event!
What: Celebrate Family Literacy Day 2024 Virtually with Honorary Chair Barbara Reid! Barbara will be doing a demonstration on how to use clay to create a picture. She will share unique techniques you can use to make different things. The event will end with a Q&A.
Who: This event is ideal for families with children in grades 1 to 6.

Tech Talk: Digital Champions: A Holistic Approach to Assisting with Digital Skills One-on-One
What: In this session, GEO Nova Scotia will provide tips on supporting individuals in acquiring the skills and confidence to get online. These insights are grounded in an evidence-based holistic approach.
