We are recruiting youth who have a curiosity in skilled trades or those who could simply benefit from gaining basic safety skills. Each session will be 14 hours in lengths and held over a weekend. Proposed dates February 18-19, and March 18-19 and a third with the date yet to be determined.

Habitat for Humanity NL is a non-profit, registered charity that enable families to have the pride of homeownership through affordable housing, delivered through a team of volunteers and partners. In addition to organizing the selection of eligible families and the construction of modest homes for these families, we also work with community agencies to develop the skills of our young people who may wish in the future to participate in a Habitat NL build.  However, the immediate outcome is that these young people will take part in training sessions that gives them transferrable skills and improve their employability.
