Information Technology Career Focus is a 16-week program funded by the Government of Canada’s Future Skills Centre (Le Programme en Technologie de l’information axé sur les carrières est subventionné par le Centre des Compétences futures du Gouvernement du Canada).

With this program we are aiming to reach women, youth, older workers, people with disabilities, Indigenous and other underrepresented groups who may be interested in exploring career opportunities in Software Development and Computer Systems Networking.

As you may know, the IT sector in NL is experiencing unprecedented growth and is currently facing a shortage of talented individuals to join this exciting, growing sector.  This program will provide students with a skills development opportunity to join the Information & Communication Technology (ICT) sector, while focusing on building a more inclusive, accessible, and diverse workforce.
