Due to COVID-19, how we work has fundamentally changed. Employment supports for persons with disabilities have had to adapt and change as well. This virtual presentation series is focused on building a community of practice by having open discussions on the accommodations that have taken place surrounding employment services in NL since COVID-19 has begun. Get involved and learn from others and share your experiences. Together, we can continue to improve and innovate our services and supports, creating new approaches to building inclusion in the workplace in the face of COVID-19. The three sessions are as followed:

Session 1: January 19th 12:00-1:00pm NST

Promising practices for supporting persons with an intellectual disability and/or autism who are working from home or onsite during COVID-19.

Session 2: February 2nd 12:00-1:00pm NST

NL specific programs and resources to help individuals with an intellectual disability and/or autism find and maintain employment during COVID-19. As well as how and where to access these services.

Session 3: February 16th 12:00-1:00pm NST

Innovative technology and tools for providing employment services to persons with an intellectual disability and/or autism during COVID-19.
