Avalon Employments Autism Employment Pilot Project

CBC News

The Autism Pilot Employment program, designed by Avalon Employment Incorporated, connects people with autism with prospective employers. The organization has been selected as a 2021 Zero Project Award winner, an accolade handed out by the international foundation that partners with the United Nations to further the equality and rights of persons with disabilities.

The Zero Project presents its 82 Awardees 2021 on Employment and ICT. Three groups have been defined for Awardees in employment, defined by the background of the awarded organizations (Business Sector, Civil Society and Public Sector). Starting in 2020/21, innovations related to ICT are a permanent second theme of every year. Within in each of the four groups, Awardees are sorted by country of implementation, contain a short description and a link to the organization.
