NL Stuttering Association Conference & Support Group

EVENT: March 20th from 1-4pm

The Newfoundland and Labrador Stuttering Association (NLSA) recognizes your roles as valuable community partners, stakeholders, and government liaisons. As such, you're invited to our second annual conference and we kindly ask that you share information about this worthwhile event with your colleagues and memberships.

On March 20th from 1-4pm the Newfoundland and Labrador Stuttering Association is hosting a free virtual screening of the award-winning documentary ‘When I Stutter’ followed by a panel discussion moderated by CBC’s Cecil Haire with special guest John Gomez, filmmaker and director of ‘When I Stutter.’ Whether you are a person who stutters (PWS), a supporter of a PWS, a speech-language pathologist, educator, or a mental health professional, everyone is welcome to attend this valuable event which will increase awareness and education about stuttering and foster a sense of community among people who stutter. Register by emailing

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you of our support group:

The Newfoundland and Labrador Stuttering Association invites people who stutter and those who support people who stutter to our monthly ‘

Let’s Stutter Together’ Stuttering Support Group

Date: The third Thursday of each month from 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Location: Currently being held virtually via Zoom due to COVID-19

RSVP: Email if you wish to join this support group

We greatly appreciate your support of the NLSA and our initiatives to raise awareness of stuttering in Newfoundland and Labrador.
