You may qualify for Partners services if you:

  • self-identify as a person with a disability
  • are aged 18+
  • are a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have been granted refugee status in Canada
  • are legally entitled to work in Canada
  • reside in an area served by a Partners program (see Locations)
  • are not eligible for assistance under Employment Insurance (EI) benefits
  • are not currently in receipt of EI
  • have not collected EI in the past 5 years
  • have not collected EI parental or maternity benefits in the past 5 years
  • are motivated and ready to job search (we will help you build and develop job search skills)
  • have a job goal(s) in line with labour market and are seeking full capacity employment

We do not require medical proof of disability. You simply have to declare that you are a person with a disability. Clients may have physical, visible, and/or invisible disabilities (such as anxiety, depression or learning disabilities), and/or medical or episodic barriers to employment. All of our job seeker clients are ready and motivated to job search.
