OIM Call for Proposals for Multiculturalism Week March 18-24
The Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism (OIM) would like to advise you all of our recently released Call for Proposals for activities during Multiculturalism Week.
This year, Multiculturalism Week will be celebrated from March 18-24. This is a time to celebrate the contributions of immigrants and celebrate diversity. Every year, Multiculturalism Week events include the displaying of multi-colored lights on government buildings, businesses and private homes as a symbol of support for diversity, as well as music and food festivals highlighting the cultures of immigrants in our province.
The OIM is inviting applications for funding of up to $1,500 per event or activity to support an increase in the number and the reach of events during Multiculturalism Week, as highlighted in The Way Forward on Immigration in Newfoundland and Labrador (March 2017).
Proposals shall be submitted before the close of business on January 26, 2018.
