Canadian Evaluation Society NL Call for Presenters

On June 15, 2018, the Canadian Evaluation Society, Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter (CES-NL)  is pleased to host a one-day, professional development conference entitled Challenge& Opportunity: Evaluation in our Current Economic Climate

CES-NL is seeking presenters for our conference. Evaluations are important in a constrained economic climate. Evaluators are often asked to do more with less, which is both a challenge and an opportunity. They are asked to increase efficiencies and to find new, innovative and creative ways to conduct evaluations – all while ensuring the evaluations have an impact. We want to hear how you’ve met, or are trying to meet, such challenges; how is your evaluation work changing because of the current economy? What new approaches have you developed that allow you to be creative, effective but also efficient? What experiences, good practices and lessons-learned do you have to share?

What’s in it for you?

Presenting at the CESNL Conference is a great opportunity to:

● Expand on your own learning by interacting with other evaluators

● Build networks within the NL evaluation community

● Discuss professional challenges and accomplishments

● Enable others to learn from your experiences

● Share your innovative and creative evaluation practices

● Practice your presentation skills

● Have your presentation included and referenced in the database of evaluation practices of the Canadian Evaluation Society

If you are selected to present, you will be invited to attend the CES-NL Annual 2018 Conference free of charge. Please see the attached Call for Presenters document for more details.

Submissions are due by end of day on Sunday April 29* (*However, if you would like to present at the conference, and this deadline is unattainable, please contact to indicate your interest and we would be happy to work with you on identifying a more reasonable submission date).

Thank you. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
